It was in 1944 at Lahore (Late) Dr. H.K. Gupta a pass out
from Lahore Medical College and Dr. V.P. Gupta a well
known Homoeopath running an allopathic concern and retail
outlet combined their ideas to give to the world something
it never had ie. Homoeopathic combinations, which are now
known as Wheezal products. Our first product Wheezal cough
mixture was launched in 1944 which relieved the misery of
many with the healing powers of Homoeopathy. Then, there
was no looking back. Wheezal kept on adding product after
products which were clinically tested and two charitable
dispensaries were opened in Dehradun which was a huge
platform to collect clinical data of its old and new
products enabling us to improvise on our products. By 1954 Wheezal’s evolutionary phase was over and it entered its
revolutionary phase. Despite various difficulties faced by
the Homoeopathic industry in India Wheezal continued
tirelessly its onward march and succeeded in persuading
even the most orthodox Homoeopath to recognize and
appreciate the need of Homoeo Combinations to challenge
the contemporary system of Medicine.
In 1967 a modern manufacturing unit was established in
Dehradun and our products were widely accepted and
prescribed throughout the country. Research & Development
continued tirelessly and zealously providing us with some
very effective products which placed Wheezal one step
ahead of others.
In the same year Wheezal Products were displayed at Vigyan
Bhawan the venue of the International Homoeopathic
National Congress where our stall became the centre of
attraction for all the delegates representing various
countries, and further national & international contacts
were established.
Wheezal also participated/exhibited its quality products
in almost each and every Homoeopathic Conference hosted by
HMAI or other state Homoeopathic Organisations creating
awareness about homoeopathy to the world. Today we are
proud to state that wherever there is a Homoeopathic
Doctor in India, he patronises Wheezal Products.
The Wheezal flame which was lit by the fore fathers, still
continues its warmth and shine by the enthusiastic efforts
of the second and third generation. In the year 2002
Wheezal was the first ISO 9001:2000 certified Company
which means approval of its products as per International
standards. After having the widest range in Syrups, Drops,
Ointments, Ophthalmic products and Homoeo cosmetics,
wheezal came up with its IInd manufacturing unit for Bio
Chemics, Bio-Combinations, Triturations, diskets, globules
& speciality tablets and further with the III unit for
Homoeopathic dilutions and mother tinctures. Today in 2009
Wheezal claims to be the pioneers of homoeopathic
combinations & having widest range of Homoeopathic
products in the country.
We are now proud to announce, of our IV unit being set up
in Selaqui with a 72000 sq ft of covered area in Pharma
city. The new factory is equipped with the most modern
machinery and latest techniques conforming to G.M.P.
standards, There is totally functional quality assurance
department, which comprises with state of the art
instrumental analysis, micro biological lab and fuming and
distillation chambers. We make no compromise on quality
and at the same time cost is under control – This accounts
for our success and I hope that we continue to do so in
the coming years also, with the support & trust we have
been receiving from all our customers.
